*Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, constituted Shikshan Shulka Samiti to decide Fees Structure for Unaided and Permanently unaided Education Colleges/Institutions vide GR Shulka-2012/Pra.kra.183/12 mashi-2 dated 05th July 2013
The committee Constitution is as follows
Chairman- Principal Secretary Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra
Member - Principal Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Maharashtra or his nominee
Member - Principal Secretary, School Education, Government of Maharashtra or his nominee
Member - Two experts by nomination form Institutional finance, Cost Accountancy and Economics,
1. Principal Sydenham Commerce and Economics College, Mumbai,
2. Chartered Accountant
Member – Representative of Private Teacher Training Association
Member – Joint Director, Shikshan Shulka Samitee
Member Secretary – Director, Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra
The Samitee is Constituted as per National Council For Teacher Education ( Guidelines for regulation of tuition fees and other fees chargeable by unaided teacher education Institutions) Amendment Regulation, 2010.

Member - Principal Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Maharashtra or his nominee
Member - Two experts by nomination form Institutional finance, Cost Accountancy and Economics,

This Samitee is responsible for deciding Fees Structure of unaided and permanently unaided Educational Colleges/ Institutions affiliated to Non Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra State.
